What's new Thursday?
Margo, Carla, and Paulette (who used to post here) remember my zucchini lasagna --- made a big dish of it yesterday afternoon --- YUMMO!
Have a "try -in" for my new denture this afternoon....
Then I'll be home for the rest of the day -- relaxing. Really overdid yesterday but it sure felt good when I was doing it!
Have a great day -- best wishes to all.

Done! Your Ticker:
Good Morning Eileen and friends,
Just a quick stop by to say hello. Been staying busy nothing exciting. Sewing, cleaning, gardening, drying foods, going to the gym. Have tickets to see "Rent" at the community college on Saturday night. Our local "Water Follies" is this weekend along the Columbia River finishing up on Sunday with hydroplane races. Large crowds of people from all over to enjoy our dry, hot summer weather. Should be high 90s for race day. Lots of tans, burns, and funmaking along the river. Too old for that anymore; can't stand 12 hours of intense heat, even along the river! But on Friday there is a large outdoors art/craft show in a shady park along the river. Think a friend and I will go to that early before it gets too hot. Then on Sunday I head back to our daughter's for 2 weeks.
I'm disgusted with myself this morning. I left my SO push a familiar button last night. Why do I continue to let someone else's actions make ME do something that I then regret? I got into those old comforting "carbs" to the extent of making a 1/2 box of Stovetop Stuffing at 9pm. Makes me feel even worse. I think I get so angry because it is something I have absolutely no control over, never have, never will. One of these days I really am going to take a suggestion that I have been given many times. . . . One of these days. Story of my life! I'm out of here. Going to take a shower and adjust my attitude.

There's a product you can get in the drug store that's actually a spray-on "bandage". You spray it on and it forms a coating, and helps seal ou****er and keep the wound from opening up every time you touch it.
Of course, I can't remember what it's called, but if you ask the pharmacist, he'd be able to help you.
Then you can use the pool when you want to.
